This simple site has been developed to help educate people on pigs as pets in Australia.  Unfortunately, contrary to what you might find on the internet, there is no such thing as an Australian Miniature Pig.  Or at least this has been my experience and Russel is living proof of this!

Russel was sold as an Australian Miniature Pig!   Today he weights approximately 80kg - there isn’t anything miniature about that!  If you talk to the breeder as I have in the past, she will say without hesitation that it’s the owners fault.  She would say the size is due to the excessive food.  What a load of rubbish!
